In case you are wondering why a solar panel isn't part of this: Many northern locations don't get sun for long periods.

A radio receiver must function 24 hours per day and a battery will drain in a day or two. The radio control module requires AC power and doesn't drain the CG battery.

Also, many places have no electricity so the wired version that requires no power is for those curcumstances.

Note1: When the Critter Gitters are turned on by any remote, they "sound off" during the "stabilization" period for a longer than usual time.
When the sound stops the Critter Gitter will be active and in its normal operating state.
